Dixie Drive-In

 

This drive-in is located on the west side of Dayton and is pretty easy to find.  Turn off of I-70 at Needmore road and go west to North Dixie drive.  Turn north and drive about ½ mile and look for the big marquee on the west side of the road.  Very nice drive-in, all of the roads inside the theater are paved and it has a large concession stand.  Two screens to choose from with bright, clear pictures.

April 15, 2006:  Made a trip to this fine drive-in theater for a Saturday night showing of Scary Movie 4 and The Hills Have Eyes.  Very busy night with a large crowd at both screens.

Screen #1 with speakers available for use.  Apparently had in-car heaters at one time (220 volt outlet visible on the speaker pole)
